I was sorting out the bottom of my wardrobe the other day when I came across a book I haven't read for a few years. I remember that the last time I read it, it didn't quite make sense. So, as it is quite a small book with not many pages, I thought I'd read it again before I went to bed. This time it made a lot of sense.
The book is called The Formula by Geoff Thompson.
Geoff writes "I have to say that this book is not simply about wishing for something and it suddenly manifesting in front of your very eyes, rather it is about knowing what you want and then setting out to get it. I believe that there is nothing in life that we cannot achieve, nothing in life that we cannot have, no-one that we cannot become."
"There is no corner of the world that we cannot access, no fear too large to overcome, no mountain too great to climb. The world is our oyster, but you won't crack in on a mattress."
Whatever you want to achieve in life, the only way that you can do so is by choosing to do it rather than think it. Whether you want to improve your lifestyle, your finances, your relationships, your self-acceptance, your energy levels, your sports performance, your work or anything, you have to get to the point where you get off the mattress, you stop dreaming about change, and you choose to do it! You decide to make those changes and take action towards achieving your goals.
Far too many people live within their comfort zones, "I've been doing this for 20 years, I'm not going to change now" says the self-talk. Well, ask yourself why? Every moment is a fresh new opportunity, every day is the first day of the rest of your life.
Hypnotherapy is a way of accelerating any positive, desired beliefs in to the subconscious mind safely and naturally, as opposed to doing it the really slow and mostly unsuccessful way of using only willpower.
Whether you want to overcome a fear or belief that's been holding you back for years, whether you want or need to accept yourself for who you are, whether you want to be more positive and enthusiastic about life, I may be able to help but only when YOU decide to take action, YOU choose to improve your life, YOU choose to make a change.
As you read these words, this is a fresh, new opportunity for you. You choose how to spend every moment of your life. Don't look back wishing that you had done or achieved more, look back at what you have achieved. It's your choice.
Be happy,
Dave.
