My blood is boiling but I feel I have to put this post up now. I was just checking my emails before I set off home when I found one promoting some "hypnosis downloads". Just before I hit the delete button I caught sight of one of the titles and had to re-check it to make sure my eyes weren't deceiving me.

The site offers hypnosis downloads, which I am not a big fan of anyway. My personal view is that everyone is unique, everyone has their own special reasons for feeling or acting the way they do and so a personal one-on-one session is always preferable to listening to a recording. Also, some people could abreact, they could become emotional as perhaps other issues/thoughts surface in the conscious mind. This is why I choose not to do group work or offer recordings for anything but general feel-good issues.

The title of the download in question is "Death of a Child". Yep, "Death of a Child".

If anyone has genuinely lost a child, they need all the love and support they can get, and in my opinion, this sick, unethical download could not offer that.

I say again that this is my opinion only, but so called hypnotherapists or hypnotists offering anything like this on a recording do more damage to this great profession of hypnosis than good. It sets the profession back miles and miles.

I take no pleasure in saying this but, in my opinion, the company offering this are sick, unethical, unprofessional and do more harm than good. It is one of the sickest, most exploitative products I have ever seen.

This product on offer leaves me disappointed that someone could stoop to such depths in order to earn a pound or two.
